Experimental electronic producer Dan Deacon reveals the glory of our country with a new video for his four-part saga “USA Suite” off his 2012 album America. Deacon’s 22-minute video, a collaborative effort with Adult Swim director Dave Hughes, begins with breathtaking images of America’s scenery, and as the wild synth beats begin to pour through, the images begin to distort. The video becomes a psychedelic exploration of mind-blowing images.
“USA” is a marathon of a journey, but with Deacon’s wildly creative electro style and the song’s compelling progression of epic sounds, it is definitely worth a watch.
In addition, Deacon shared a free download of his new single, “Why Am I On This Cloud?” The track was recorded for Adult Swim’s music series, which includes an eclectic mix of singles from Mac DeMarco, Metz, Autre Ne Veut, Lil B, and many more.
